Barkbox Review + Giveaway + Coupon! – September 2013

It’s always a treat (for me and my dogs!) when my mailman trudges along my Barkbox. I’m liking all the chews that came in this box (perfect that there was 3, as I have 3 pups!), and my dogs have been also. I always catch them sniffing the box, they know what’s theirs! Barkbox also generously gave me a coupon code for a 3-month subscription to one lucky winner; the giveaway will be at the bottom of the post.
Box: Barkbox is an awesome monthly subscription service for dogs.
Price: $29/month. (As low as $19/month with a 6 month subscription! Also use my link or coupon code SubscriptionLove and get $5 off any subscription!)
Contents: Treats, toys, and dog-related items based on your dogs size. Items vary by month and are mostly full-size!
First look.
Information card that comes in every box. (Sorry for the blurry-ness.)

Our Pet’s IQ Treat Ball 5″ (Value $11.99):
This is quite the interesting ‘brainy’ toy! I haven’t tested it out yet, but I’m going to enjoy seeing my dog play with this one. Hopefully he can manage it, it looks kind of tricky!
Wagatha’s ‘Tuscan Pizza’ Dog Biscuits (Value $5.50):
Every month I seem to get a non-typical flavored dog treat, and my dogs love it! Their past favorites have included yogurt and banana/coconut treats; I’m sure they are going to love pizza flavored.

Superior Farms Venison Ear (Value $3.15):
I know my dog is going to enjoy this a lot! I love when the box includes chews, they last so much longer than just one treat.
Etta Says! 7 Inch Deer Chew (Value?):
I’m not sure how much this retails for, but it comes in a pack on the Etta Says! website. Deer is a new one for my dogs to be chomping on!

Barkworthies Angus Tendon (Value $3.15):
This might be silly, but does anyone else get grossed out when they realize they are feeding their dogs ‘tendons’ and such? lol

VetraCare Pet Liquid Bandage (Value $8.95):
This is a nice ’emergency’ type of item to have for your pets, hopefully I’ll never have to use it! (But if I do, I’d be happy to have a disinfectant around.)
Final Thoughts: Usually Barkbox tends to send only toys and treats (which I love!), but I was happy to see a variation with the liquid bandage. The value is always there, as I calculated around $30 before shipping, and the boxes are always a bit heavy. I’m never disappointed by Barkbox, they always send a variety of treats my dogs love, and the toys always keep my dog occupied. Great box once again!

Yes, I would get grossed out with the whole tendon thing too. But your doggies seem to have very refined tastes, such as Tuscan Pizza.

If refined meaning eating everything in sight, then yes very refined 😉
