Ipsy Bag Review November 2013 – Beauty Subscription

One of my favorite subscription packages have arrived, and this was a crazy amazing bag people! If you haven’t signed up for IPSY yet, I highly recommend it for any makeup lover. (Also makes a great gift!) In terms of this month’s bag, I really like the gold color (very holiday) and design. The quality isn’t the greatest, but I don’t expect much for a $10 bag. As long as it doesn’t rip and drop all my makeup, I’m good.
Box: Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for beauty products.
Price: $10/month.
Contents: 4-5 beauty products personalized to your profile, determined by a beauty/style quiz. Not everyone gets the same products!
An EM makeup information card/coupon, as well as the IPSY theme card. No informational card for this bag unfortunately, but not a huge biggie for me.

Kiss EverEz Eyelashes ’01’ (Value $6.49):
These were one of the products that differentiated between bags, and I’m SO happy that I got lashes! I have lots of problem with lash length and always ruin them, so backups are greatly appreciated. These are also very beautiful and voluminous looking, excited!
EM Waterliner in ‘Emerald’ (Value $20):
Now I must admit this brand is expensive, but wow was this eyeliner creamy! I absolutely love this shade of green, and it even comes with a smudge sponge. I hope they include more products from EM in the future, I’m digging it. (This is also comparable to Milani Liquif’eye in my opinion.)

Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil in ‘Amethyst’ (Value $14):
This brand is so underrated, I absolutely love this eye pencil! It’s so creamy and smooth; this is going to look great brightening up the inner corner of my eyes. Swatch below.
Swatch of Amethyst, isn’t it gorgeous? I actually don’t have an eyeliner in this color, which is amazing as I have 20+ eyeliners.
Nailtini ‘Caviar Cocktail’ (Value $13):
So I don’t know what happened to my picture of the polish, so here is just their promo picture. I heard this was a great brand, but this will be gifted as I have wayyy to many polishes. (Thanks Julep…lol). I also always thought this was nail art polish due to the shape of the bottle, boy was I surprised.
Be A Bombshell in ‘Shameless’ (Value $14):
I really like lip crayons, as you don’t have to be so precise with your application. This color is described as a ‘burgundy with shimmer’.
Pixi Bronzer in ‘Subtly Suntouched’ (Value $5.50):
This is a very light bronzer; very subtle as the name entails. (More so of a nice highlight for darker skin tones.) I also must say I recommend the brand, I have other products from them that I enjoy.
Final Thoughts: Is it too much to say that this is one of the best Ipsy bags ever?! I’m thrilled with the eyelashes (which I’m in dire need of ), and eyeliners (which I hoard like no one’s business!). The value was, as always, incredible at $73…I can’t wrap my mind around that fabulousness. This bag also had 6 items in it; loving their generous holiday spirit 😉 It seriously feels like Christmas every time I get my monthly bag, I highly recommend this subscription!
