Birchbox Review November 2013

Gosh am I behind! Catching up though, I only have a few more November boxes lol. I also just added a giveaway to my Urthbox Review! Anyways, here is my November Birchbox, which will be my last one for at least a while. This one had a great value though and I did enjoy the products; definitely one of my better boxes.

Box: Birchbox gives you beauty and lifestyle products each month.

Price: $10/month.

Contents: 4-5 samples each month, from mini to deluxe, & sometimes full-size!

First look!

This month a holiday catalog was included; I enjoyed looking through it getting ideas on what I can use my points on!

The information card.

Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil (Value $18):
I believe this is full-sized? I actually received this in a past Ipsy bag, but it’s cool! I love the highlighting aspect, but it kind of disappears while blending so you have to put a bunch. A great product to have in the bag though!

Chuao ‘Orange-a-go-go’ Chocopod (Value $1.25):
This was a fun little extra to have included, and what an interesting flavor!

Tocca ‘Grapefruit & Cucumber’ Hand Cream (Value $5):
I’m not much for hand cream (even though I should be more of a fan), but this sounds like it would smell lovely as I’m definitely a fan of grapefruit. I’ve also heard great things about this brand also.

Vasanti BrightenUp! Face Rejuvenator (Value $5.70):
Like a mini facial in one, this contains enzymes that breakdown your dead skin cells and micro crystals that buff away the skin. I’m excited to use this, I need a new scrub.

Color Club ‘Top Shelf’ (Value $4):
You want to know something sad? I just found out that these are not full-sized! I’ve only ever seen these polishes in Birchbox so thought these were the normal size, but I final got a larger one in another box…fail!

Final Thoughts: This was actually a pretty good box, seeing as I got a full-size highlighter pen, a nice enzyme scrub, chocolate, nicely scented lotion…and you can never go wrong with nail polish! The value was also impressive at $33.95, and I am absolutely in love with Birchbox’s point system. I am going to go on a little hiatus with them, but I will not rule out re-subscribing in the near future 🙂
