The December Bully Box looks like it got an upgrade; it’s the best one so far, including non-food/non-toy extras and even an information card! Although I am happy to show you guys what this box has to offer, I must get something off my chest first, I hope you all understand.
I am with a heavy heart as I type up this review, as one of my dogs (Titan, the one I took on as my ‘baby’) had to be put down yesterday due to cancer. Titan was the only dog of our 3 that really played with dog toys. Our other 2 Boxers do love treats, but Titan caught on to pet subscription boxes and always waited around with me as I opened them, in hopes for a handout. He was truly one of a kind and I honestly loved getting these goodies for him specifically. This box (and all other pet subscription boxes), now only remind me of this sudden loss 🙁 I apologize for the long, emotional paragraph, I just feel this will be a good way to express and release my feelings. Now on a lighter note, this really is a great box, and if Titan were still around today, I know he would enjoy it 🙂
Box: A subscription box customized for large breed dogs. (The subscription is intended for pitbulls, but it’s perfect for any large breed dog. My dogs are boxers.) You can tell Bully Box what breed your dog is and they will customize your box for your breed.
Price: $25/month, free s/h.
(Clicking on the ‘Subscribe’ button will lead you to the 1-month $25 subscription. Use coupon code NATT in the note to seller section to get $5 refunded back to your Paypal account on your first box. That makes a subscription only $20!)
Contents: Treats and toys for aggressive chewers; things your dog will surely enjoy! Usually 5 items are included in a box.
Here is the information card (something new to Bully Box!) and I’m so happy it was included! It’s to the point but also includes the value, which makes things easier for me to tally 😉 A freebie was also included, this cute calendar magnet for 2014.
West Paw Design Ruff N Tuff Reindeer (Value $12):
This is the most adorable thing…ever! It also squeaks and keeps in line with the holidays which I appreciate 🙂
West Paw Design ‘Tux’ (Value $16.50):
This is one of those stuffable toys. Titan could never figure how to get the treats out, but it’s a good little thing for them to chew and carry around on it’s own 🙂 A fun idea is to put broth/water in it and freeze it!
Exclusively Dog ‘Carob’ LickOrish Chews (Value $7):
Carob if you didn’t know, is a safe chocolate alternative for dogs. I’ve gotten these in a previous box and the dogs love them, no problem!
6″ Bully Sticks (Value $10 for 3):
Yes there were supposed to be 3, but I gave one away before I took a picture lol. Shame!
“I Love My Dog” Emery Board (Value $1.50):
I LOVE that this was included! It’s a unique item but totally fits the box, and I can always use backups of these. Great touch Bully Box!
Triumph ‘Apple Cinnamon’ Dog Biscuit (Value $2.50):
This sounds so yummy 🙂
Final Thoughts: Like I said earlier, what a great box! The magnet and emery board were nice extra touches that I really enjoyed, and there was a great variety of treats and toys available! If you get the Bully Box from month to month you may get some repeat treats, but my dogs love them so I don’t really see a problem 🙂 The value of this box was $49.50 (not including the magnet or s/h), amazing deal! This would definitely be a great gift for any dog owner, or a great gift for your own pet(s).
(Don’t forget to add the code NATT to the ‘additional notes’ section to get $5 refunded from any Bully Box subscription!)
Rest in peace my sweet boy! I’ll be thinking of you <3
