Fancy Pants Food Review November 2013

Hi guys, long time no talk! (I’ll be posting a bunch of fun boxes after the holiday madness, I promise!) A few months back (wayyy back) I ordered a free box (with coupon) from Fancy Pants Food. Fancy Pants Food was a very new company, and I believe they just started up in October! My box shipped really late (over a month at least) and I reviewing it even later, but finally here it is! Unfortunately though I got an email a few days ago stating that Fancy Pants Food is closing up the business. (So I won’t be putting a link to the site.) I also won’t be putting aprox. values since the samples are so small.
Box: Fancy Pants Food is a snack subscription box!

Price: $10/month.
Contents: 5-8 trial sized samples delivered straight to your door.

Such a pretty card and first look.

The back of the card above, with all the product information.
Snapz Grilled Zucchini Crunch:
I’m not sure if I’m going to enjoy this or not, but I’ll definitely try it! I feel like it could be a huge hit.
Oats Granola ‘Toasted Coconut’:
I LOVE coconut, and it being mixed with granola is perfect! Can’t wait to mix with some greek yogurt.

Kelapo Coconut Oil:
I find it a little odd that this is something I’m supposed to use to cook. (Will I even remember to use it?!)
JJ’s Sweets Cocomels in ‘Original’ and ‘Sea Salt’:
OH. MY. GOSHHHHH! These are so fricken delicious, just like everyone said it was. I die people, so good.
Hint Mint ‘Pomegranate Acai’:
This has a yummy tart flavor, but I feel like it’s more of a candy than a mint (kind of like those sour candy ice breakers). I love the packaging though; the tin slides out and all the mints are arranged beautifully!

Lord Nut Levington Peanuts in ‘Spicy Bloody Mary’ & ‘Cheddar Cheese and JalapeƱo’:
These are cool additions to the box, although I don’t like spicy things so I’ll not be trying these unfortunately. Looks fun though!
Final Thoughts: I definitely enjoyed opening up this box of goodies and enjoyed a fair amount. I fell head over heels for the Cocomels, and the granola and mints were also a hit for me. I think $10 for this box was a great price and it’s unfortunate to see such a new company close up shop. Sad to see you go Fancy Pants Food!
