My January Barkbox got a downgrade! I changed the size of my box to small (for my small dogs at my parents house), so the toys and treats are a bit smaller than usual. Smaller does not mean less appealing though, everything is still as exciting as before.
Box: Barkbox is an awesome monthly subscription service for dogs.
Price: $29/month. (As low as $19/month with a 6 month subscription! Also use my link or coupon code SubscriptionLove and get $5 off any subscription!)
Contents: Treats, toys, and dog-related items based on your dogs size. Items vary by month and are mostly full-size!
The promo. material included in the box.
Barksters ‘Sweet Potato & Beef’ Krisps (Value $8.99):
What a cute puppy on this package! I’ve never heard of this brand, but it looks good (for the dogs).
Louisiana Alligator Jerky (Value $5.59):
If I’m not mistaken, I believe I saw this product included in a value pack at Costco or Sams Club. It looks very interesting, I mean alligator?! Supposedly it’s a healthier type of meat.
Harry Barker Cotton Rope Tug (Value $6):
Tug-O-War toys are my favorite type of toys for the dogs, right up there next to squeaky ones. I love the colors and love that it would hold up in a wrestle with puppy jaws.
Barkworthies Junior Bully Stick (Value $2.50):
I feel like I see these in every other dog subscription box I get, but I’m not complaining! My dogs absolutely love them.
Wigzi Pocket Bone (Value $7.99):
I’m not a fan of these for holding treats (my dogs cold never get them off), but I do like these as a toy themselves.
Final Thoughts: I think it’s very interesting to see the difference in the products I get between the ‘large’ size boxes and the ‘small’ size boxes. The value of this box was around $31. Close to the price point of the box and uncharacteristically lower than usual, but it’s still a good deal and you get to discover a bunch of new dog toys/treats conveniently in your home.
