Hero Dog Box Review December 2013 – Dog Subscription Box

Hero Dog Box is a new dog subscription box that I got the pleasure to try out thanks to the company. I’m always excited to check out different subscription boxes, and you guys know how my dogs love their treats!
Box: Hero Dog Box is a subscription box offering quality products to dogs, while helping shelter/rescue dogs find their forever homes.
Price: $29/month. (Free shipping to 48 contiguous states.)
Contents: Various treats and lifestyle products for dogs.

First look inside!
A brochure was included introducing the Hero Dog Box, talking about their mission and the sponsored dog of the month. Each month a shelter/dog is recognized, helping that dog find it’s forever home!
The back of the brochure is actually the information card.

Honest Pet Products Hemp Eco Tosser (Value $9.99):
I love the structure of this toy; it seems very tough and durable which is great for dogs to play around with.

Paw Street Bakery ‘Blueberry Bone-Anza’ (Value $7.99):
These treats are organic and all-natural, which would explain why my dogs were very curious of it LOL. (They tend to not like healthy treats as much) Of course after they devoured them, and they made of oats and cut into Christmas Trees.
Honest Pet Products Organic Dog Shampoo (Value $2.49):
From the same company as the hemp toy above, this is again a natural shampoo that is great for dogs, especially wish sensitive skin.
The Honest Kitchen Holiday Quickies (Value $9.99):
Dehydrated Haddock anyone? These treats are sure to be a treat for your dogs, and such a cute tin they come in!

Tail Bangers (Value $10?):
These look so good I want to eat them myself! Not sure on the price of these, but they are peanut butter flavored and covered with yogurt; all natural ingredients. So dang cute and perfect for the holidays.
Lovin from the Oven ‘Peanut Butter & Apple’ Treats (Value $8.99):
These look like little cookies and are free from additives/preservatives. I also think it’s cute how it’s in a brown baggie!
Final Thoughts: I really loved how this box included products that were all-natural and organic! Discovering different subscription boxes for my dogs made me more aware of what my pups eat, and so I’m definitely happy to feed them treats that are better for them. I also liked that this box included a variety of items, and of course the value. I estimated the contents of this box to be around $49 which is amazing. (Not to mention the value of getting to discover all these small companies.) Finally, I think it’s great that this company focuses on helping dogs find their forever homes; it’s so great that the company gives you information so you can actually adopt the dogs.
