MemeBox Global 4th Edition Review – Korean Beauty Products!

Man, Memebox is just pumpin out those subscription boxes! No complaints here though, it’s definitely one of the most exciting boxes to receive. This is the 4th edition, but the boxes have been so popular that all the boxes up to the 7th edition are SOLD OUT! (They are pre-orders, they haven’t even began to ship yet!) You can pre-order boxes 8, 9, and 10 as a set though. If you want to see my past Memebox reviews, click HERE!

Box: Memebox is a Korean beauty box. It’s not a monthly subscription, but boxes are available for purchase when they periodically come on sale. Members find out when new boxes are available through email.
Price: $23 ($5.99-$7.99 s/h; varies by location). (You get $7 in points back though every time you buy a box.)
Contents: Various full-size and sample sizes of Korean beauty products, curated by Korean beauty experts & ‘Get It Beauty’ production team.

First look inside…..*sigh* so beautiful!

The information card. It had so many products this month, it also had items on the back.

Danahan Bon Yeon Jin Essence (Value $16.32):
A serum used to enhance elasticity and regeneration.
Clio VF 21 Water BB SPF35 (Value $6):
I can never have enough BB creams! These are perfect for those days where I want some coverage, but not a full face of makeup.
The Shampoo Plus Natural Waterless Shampoo (Value $5):
Made out of oregano (ew? weird? lol), this is a foam dry shampoo! I’ve never heard/seen of such a thing, but I’m super excited to use this! Favorite product in the box lol.
T.E.N Cremorlab Mineral Treatment Essence (Value $13.30):
I believe this is to be used before makeup, kind of like a fresher-upper!
Goodal Repair Plus Essential Oil (Value $7.20):
This contains a lot of amazing essential oils, which I heard work amazing on your skin. This is supposed to hydrate, enhance, and firm your complexion.
Laneige Snow Crystal Pure Lip Gloss (Value $20):
I’m not super fond of these tubes, but this has a nice rosy color and little micro glitters.
Peripera Peri’s Tint Mini ‘Mandarin Juice’ (Value $2.70):
Is this not the cutest packaging ever! I absolutely love it! It’s a nice vivid tint that doubles as a cheek and lip tint.
LJH Dr’s Care Vita Propolis Ampoule (Value $8.67):
This contains vitamins that brings out the luminosity of your face and soothes your skin.
Iope Bio Essece Intensive Conditioning (Value $7):
This seems like a toner to me, and is supposed to clear and smooth your texture within 3 days. I really appreciate that it came with cotton pads.
Lanoa Natural Soap Sulfer (Value $12):
Specially designed for sensitive and dry skin, this may be my new facial soap. I heard sulfur is good for acne also.

Final Thoughts: This wasn’t my favorite box being that it was mostly skincare, but I can definitely appreciate the integrity of the box and the items inside! I may not be a skincare buff, but I know a lot of people are and those people would LOVE Memebox. Don’t get me wrong, I love it too! I may not use some things, but I sure like discovering new brands and exploring foreign makeup; it’s a fun box to get! The value was around $98 which is a crazy good deal. Although some things seem repetitive, (like serums and hydrating sprays), if you are into skincare you can never have enough, right?!

I heart these boxes, although they do seem to be more skincare oriented instead of makeup. The foam shampoo worked pretty well for me! I liked it much more than the aerosols I have used in the past. Also, they aren't giving the $7 credit with the boxes anymore. On a few they offer the free upgrade to express shipping, a few have credits, and some don't have either… depends on the box. Think they are still in "beta" mode and figuring out what they want to do.

I've bought every box since 7 (7, Lucky, 8,9,10, and Super1) but drew the line at Super2 when it was announced the day after Super1. It was getting ridiculous. Do I want ALL of them? YES!!! But still, crazy. And Killian is right, they haven't been giving points for boxes which is a real bummer. For a skincare junkie like myself though, this is still a win.
