Taste Guru Review January 2014 + Free Box Code!

My last box for January! This is my January Taste Guru box and I’m sorry I didn’t get to it sooner! A few changes I noticed is that the smallest subscription they seem to offer is 3 months, and the price goes down with a 6 month and 12 month subscription. There is still the coupon deal below though if you are interested in gluten-free snacks, 2 free boxes and just pay s/h!
Box: Taste Guru is a gluten-free subscription box.
Price: $34/month (free s/h) for 3 months. (Use code 2FREE to get 2 boxes for only $24 shipping.)
Contents: 6-8 full-size gluten free products.
First look.
The information card.
Schar Parbaked Baguettes (Value $7.25):
I thought this was so adorable to find in a subscription box! They also only take 5 minutes to bake, nice!

Dream Blends Dark Chocolate Almond, Cashew, Hazlenut Drink (Value $2):
This had a very strong chocolate taste, and if you are a chocolate lover I think you would love this!
Uncle Dougie’s Wicked Good No-Fry Wing Marinade (Value $5):
This is great as I’m always looking for some new sauces to spice up my meals. It also helps that it’s 100% natural with no artificial ingredients!

Cooksimple Punjabi Coconut Curry Mix (Value $5):
Ahh I’m so excited you guys! I LOVE LOVE LOVE coconut curry and this seems pretty easy to make; just add chicken! Yum yum yum, my mouth’s watering already.
Popcorn Indiana ‘Black and White’ KettleCorn (Value $3.49):
I’m not a huge fan of sweet popcorn, but this looks delicious none the less! I’m sure someone in the house will eat it with delicious dark and white chocolate.

Superfood ‘Coconut Maple Vanilla’ Cereal (Value $4):
This was actually pretty delicious and I definitely enjoyed it! I love coconut and this was packed with coconut strips, and it also had a very tasty maple/vanilla flavor. I also liked that you could add cold water/milk to it, no heating required. I would buy some for me during breakfast to eat if it wasn’t so pricey. Also the reason why this was open was because it opened a bit during transport. Thankfully not to much spilled in the box.
Final Thoughts: This was a decent Taste Guru box to start off the year. I really enjoyed the cereal and am excited about the coconut curry. I’m sure the bread and marinade will also come in handy! The value of the box was around $27 which is a bit low, but discovering all of these gluten-free products if extremely valuable to those who can’t have it in their diet 🙂
