Taste Guru Review February 2014 – Gluten Free Subscription Box!

Hi everyone! I believe that this is the last of my February boxes, and it’s a great one to end that month with if I say so myself 🙂 I’ve gotten Taste Guru for a couple of months now due to an awesome Gilt deal, and although I am not gluten intolerant, I’ve enjoyed discovering some tasty gluten-free snacks!
Box: Taste Guru is a gluten-free subscription box.
Price: $34/month (free s/h) for 3 months. (Use code 2FREE to get 2 boxes for only $24 shipping.)
Contents: 6-8 full-size gluten free products.
The information card.

Viviana Gluten-Free Linguini (Value $6.99):
I always wanted to try gluten-free pasta in hopes of a healthier alternative. Gonna put some pesto on this; hopefully it doesn’t have any noticeable taste difference 🙂

Straw Propeller Gourmet Foods Apple Crisp Oatmeal (Value $3.25):
These have apples, walnuts, and white chocolate chips; it sounds so dang delicious and my husband will probably love it!
Dr. McDougall’s Vegan ‘Pad Thai Noodle’ and ‘Tortilla with Baked Chips’ Soup (Value $1.99 each):
I like that we got two different soups from this brand; they also look really filling.

Eat Your Vegetables ‘Sea Salt’ Chips (Value $0.40):
With a full serving of vegetables in one bag, these are a ‘healthier’ chip alternative! I wonder what these will taste like…
Snapz Apple Crisps (Value $1.99):
These were good, but I prefer Barefruit over these! (Plus I think Barefruit is cheaper.)

Poplets ‘Sea Salt and Butter’ (Value $1.50):
I really like this new trend of eating popcorn, it’s so yummy! This isn’t my favorite brand, but it was pretty good. (Just watch out as these get stuck in your teeth lol.)
Final Thoughts: I loved this box! I was especially excited about the Poplets, pasta, and oatmeal, and the other things look good to try 🙂 There was such a wide range of foods this month, so many filling meal types, which was a great stray away from just getting all snacks. The only disappointing thing about this box was the extremely under value of around $18. The box is nearly double that, and although it’s free s/h and I don’t include the value of having a bunch of gluten-free items in one package, I think the mark should have been a bit closer to $34.
