My April Taste Guru box was filled with adorable snack sized items this month; I can’t wait to dig in! On another note, I wish Taste Guru offered monthly subscriptions! The shortest term is a 3 month commitment.
Box: Taste Guru is a gluten-free subscription box.
Price: $34/month (free s/h) for 3 months ($102 total.)
Contents: 6-8 full-size gluten free products.
All the goodies!
Here are the information cards, and some recipes and coupons that were included.
Massel Concentrated Liquid Stock ‘Vegetable’ & ‘Chicken’ (Value $2 each):
It’s always useful to have some extra stock on hand, so I’m super happy to get this.
Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch ‘Almond Crunch’ & ‘Peanut Crunch’ (Value $0.50 each):
I’m not a fan of Nature Valley bars, but my husband really loves these! I’ll put them as a snack in his lunch 🙂
At the Table Together Gluten Free Flour Tortilla Mix (Value $4 each):
This would be fun to experiment with…if I had an oven! Ugh.
***UPDATE —You don’t need an oven for these! YAY! lol I obviously never made tortillas before 😛
Bella Gluten-Free Baking Mix (Value $3):
See oven-related comment above. I’m upset about this 🙁
***UPDATE — I’m pretty sure you don’t need an oven for pancakes either lol…I must have been extremely tired when I wrote this.
Love Original Roasted Seaweed (Value $0.75 each):
I love this seaweed so much, i’m going to treat myself to some after this post 🙂
Fiona’s All Natural Trail Mix ‘Mountain Blend’ (Value $4):
This is going to be a great snack to wake me up during those boring work days lol.
Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this box, it was definitely my favorite! I think most of the things were very appealing to a wide range of tastes, so I wasn’t too picky with the things in this box like I usually am 🙂 I liked the snacks given, but I also think its rad how this box often comes with things to bake or prepare (even though I don’t have an oven); it definitely is a factor that sets itself apart from other boxes! With that being said, I will say the value was really low for this month. Even with regards to the value of getting all gluten-free items, I still only got $22.50 worth of product, and the box cost $34. Yikes!
