Boxy Charm Review May 2014 – Makeup Subscription Box!

So Boxy Charm sent me this box to do a review on my beauty-related Youtube Channel, and of course I had to include the review on here also 🙂 This is my first experience with Boxy Charm, and I was stoked because I heard so much about them! Plus, I love makeup and beauty products, so I was automatically thinking I was goin to love the box 🙂
Box: Boxy Charm is a beauty subscription box that surprises you each month with great products, from great brands.

Price: $21/month.

Contents: The hottest products ranging from nail care, to hair care, makeup, and more!

First look inside! Loving all the pink and the theme.

Ferro Cosmetics Pink Fabuki Brush (Value $20):
Pink brush!!! It’s pretty soft (not the softest, but nice!), and it’s dense (great for holding product). Happy with this!
Embelleze Novex Olive Oil and Argan Oil (Value ?):
Some deep conditioners are really appreciated when you are constantly dying your hair red. Yeahhh! Fix my fried hair!

Lauren B. Beauty Nail Polish Remover Pads (Value $15):
$15 for nail polish remover pads are pretty steep, but I do love them! (Handy when I’m lazy to grab cotton balls.)
Mirabella Lipstick ‘Pretty & Provocative’ (Value $22):
I was very excited to get a Mirabella lipstick, and full-size too! I’ve heard a lot of great things about this brand.

 Close up of the lippie.

Illume Lavish Hand Creme ‘Thai Lily’ (Value $20):
Um…this packaging is everything. Like……I love you pretty pink watercolor box.

Out of the box! A very nice sized hand creme.
Final Thoughts: I know in the past Boxy Charm has included a lot of drugstore brands, and I was surprised to see that there were some higher end brands included this month. (That isn’t necessarily good or bad for me, just an observation.) The value was fabulous at $77+, which is a great deal considering how inexpensive the box is. I especially enjoy boxes with themes, and I think these products fit their Mother’s Day theme beautifully. It was a great box, and I’d be happy to see what they have in the future!
