Birchbox Review June 2014 – Beauty Subscription Box

Birchbox is a women's subscription box that sends you makeup, skincare, and lifestyle items every month.

Hi everyone! I recently signed up for Birchbox again for a short stint (I just unsubscribed again…lol!), but I got the June and July box for the time being. (July review coming soon!) I signed up because of a $10 points they were giving out for sign up (so technically this box was ‘free), so awesome deals!

Box: Birchbox gives you beauty and lifestyle products each month.

Price: $10/month.

Contents: 4-5 samples each month, from mini to deluxe, & sometimes full-size!

Information card.

Harvey Prince Hello Perfume Sample (Value?):
I’m definitely not one of those people likely to buy perfume from a sample.

***I THOUGHT I got the Sans Tan sunscreen in this box, but I’m thinking now that I mixed it up from another subscription box I received. This never happens! Sorry for the mix up. (I noticed when it wasn’t on the info. card…***

Supergoop! Everyday SPF 30 (Value $1):
This is at least practical since it’s summer.

Davines Love Smoothing All in One Milk/Conditioner Samples (Value ?):
Foil samples of hair products are so meh to me.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser & Cloth (Value $9.50):
This sounds divine to use; I can’t wait to pamper myself! I also thought it was super adorable that it actually came with a cloth.

Davines Love Shampoo (Value $7.5):
Here is the shampoo to match the other products above! I use a special red shampoo for my red hair so I won’t be using this unfortunately.

Cynthia Rowley Black Eyeliner (Value $16):
Dang this is an expensive (and kinda small?) eyeliner, but it is super dark and creamy! (I’m assuming this is the full-size, I can’t find the size information online.) You can never have too much black eyeliner, am I right?

Final Thoughts: Definitely not my favorite box, but the eyeliner outweighed the value of the box alone! We also got more ‘high-ticket’ valued items, so it was a good deal I’d say. (As it always is with an inexpensive box like Birchbox!)

I love the sound of the Liz Earle Cleanser & Cloth! Perfect for pampering as you said! Would it possible to get a review of Vain Pursuits? I've been hearing about them lately and would love to see what you have to say with regards to their skincare as well!
