Birchbox Review July 2014 – Women’s Health

I saw that Birchbox¬†was having a Women’s Health themed box, so I definitely wanted to jump on this ūüôā

Box: Birchbox gives you beauty and lifestyle products each month.

Price: $10/month.

Contents: 4-5 samples each month, from mini to deluxe, & sometimes full-size!

First look.

 Information Card.

Some cards and a free subscription (or $9.99 rebate!) to Women’s Health. I chose to get the rebate, so this box was essentially free.

Beauty Protector Protect and Treat Mask (Value $6.49):
I wasn’t too excited about these since I have a specific red shampoo I use; plus this brand looks cheap to me. Pretty high value though!

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel (Value $4.80):
I’m kind of disappointed that you can’t peel off this peel, you have to wash it! I’m excited to use this though as it is said to help reduce acne, even out skin tone, diminish dark spots, etc!

Cynthia Rowley Creamy Lip Stain ‘Valentine’¬†(Value $0.94):
A very tiny sample, but it’s still a nice little stain on the go. The only makeup product in the box unfortunately.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Moisturizer (Value $6.50):
A very nice quality moisturizer that helps reduce fine lines and aims to improve firmness/elasticity.

Hello Body Cream (Value $0.50):
Not a huge one for body cream, but it’s a nice citrus/nutty scent.

Final Thoughts:¬†This wasn’t my favorite Birchbox, but I did really enjoy the high quality samples of moisturizer and face ‘peel’. I also absolutely love that there was a rebate, so essentially this box was free! I unfortunately unsubscribed because I’m very on and off with this subscription, but I’m sure I’ll sign up again sometime in the future. (The contents just really vary! I liked a lot of other stuff in other people’s boxes this month.)
