Ipsy Review September 2014 – Beauty Bag

Still playing catch ups with my Ipsy subscriptions, and here is September’s bag. (Which I think is pretty nice this month; I’m a fan of studs.) My extras that I chose to use my points on included a pair of Miss Adoro lashes, eyeshadow, and glue! Loved this beauty sample.
Box: Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for beauty products.
Price: $10/month.
Contents: 4-5 beauty products personalized to your profile, determined by a beauty/style quiz. Not everyone gets the same products!

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask (Value $5):
I’m always in need of some deep conditioning, so hopefully this helps bring my hair back to life.
LeeAnni Eco 3 in 1 Revolution Light (Value ?):
This is a moisturizer, toner, and serum all in one. Also this specific ‘light’ formula is especially good for oily skin.
Pacifica 7 Free Nail Color in ‘Red Red Wine’ (Value $9):
Although I have way too much nail polish for my own good (thanks Julep!), it is always nice to get some full-sized polish. I love this burgundy color.

Crown Brush Crease and Shadow Brush (Value $7):
I hardly get ‘beauty tools’ in my bag, so getting a dual ended eyeshadow brush was a real treat.
Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss (Value $19):
WOW! I had no idea this lip gloss was so pricey; this is a high ticket item for sure. I also like this color 🙂

Here is a better look at the dual ended brush. The bristles are so soft!
Final Thoughts: I wasn’t thrilled about this months bag particularly (I think I just have too much makeup and so I’m hard to impress lol), but we got some high value, full-sized items so that did make for a great bag. The value of the products (not including the products I received with my points) were more than $40! This was also one of the best varieties I’ve seen, as I got in this bag a beauty tool, hair product, nail item, skincare, and makeup item! Bravoo! Favorite item of the month? My 2-1 eyeshadow brush 🙂
