Memebox Review #34 Whole Grain 2 Review + Coupon Code!

Hi everyone! I was recently sent this specialty box from Memebox, and I eagerly wanted to show you guys all the goodies inside. Also, notice my new picture backgrounds? Courtesy of my new house hehe. This box is unfortunately sold out, but hopefully from this you can see the type of products and arrangements Memebox has to offer 🙂

Box: Memebox is a Korean beauty box. It’s not a monthly subscription, but boxes are available for purchase when they periodically come on sale. Members find out when new boxes are available through email.

Price: $23 ($5.99-$7.99 s/h; varies by location). (You get $7 in points back though every time you buy a box.) (Use code 14ULLU for $5 off your $30 puchase, good through 11/30/14.)

Contents: Various full-size and sample sizes of Korean beauty products, curated by Korean beauty experts & ‘Get It Beauty’ production team.

The first look, along with the information card.

Tosowoong Timeshift Emulsion (Value $34):
A treatment made to help tighten up the skin and improve complexion.

Echoice Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub (Value $5):
I can say that in all the Memebox’s I got, I’ve never received a body product/scrub. Not totally in love with the smell, but I do like exfoliating!

Osho Whitening Cream (Value $34):
For some reason I have a negative connotation associated with whitening cream…I don’t necessarily want to lighten my skin tone, but I would love to even out my complexion and get rid of dark spots. (Which is what this is supposed to do!)

Young Face Natural Soap (Value $12):
This seems like an overall facial skincare soap, helping to treat blemishes, freckles (although I love freckles), and sagging skin.

Seven DIAS Medi Anti-Blemish Serum (Value $29):
I’m waiting for the day where I finally grow out of having acne, but it doesn’t seem like that time is coming anytime soon 🙁 So, I will be testing this out, and hoping for a miracle.

Nu-ruk Youngface Natural Powder (Value $5):
If you mix this with a spoonful of liquid (water, milk, honey, or yogurt), you can spread this over your face and it acts as a moisturizing/brightening/tightenting mask. Seems fun!

Final Thoughts: I realized that the reason why this box is called ‘Whole Grain 2’ is because all of these products have some type of grain ingredient, such as mung beans, yeast extracts, etc. I love that! So creative and a very interesting variety of skin care products. (Although, I do feel like the majority of products are brightening, which may be a downfall for some people. On a side note though, that is what asian skincare is known for.) Also the fact that all of these products were full-sized…the value was incredible! Worth $119 (whaaaat!!?), you’re getting an amazing deal with this box. Like out of this world amazing. Now like I mentioned before this is unfortunately sold out, but you can definitely check out the other boxes offered below.
