Happy November everyone! A new post this month stems from a perfume subscription company called Scentbird. This company lets you choose your own scent that you want to sample each month, and they send you 1 months worth (8ml) of your choice in an atomizer. There were a TON of designer perfumes to choose from, and I was floored by all of the options.
Box: Scentbird is a monthly perfume subscription.
Price: $14.95/month. (Free s/h)
Contents: An atomizer filled with your choice of a months worth (8ml) of perfume.
Here is the front of the card included in the package. One important thing to mention about the selection process is that Scentbird gives you a fragrance profile quiz when you sign up. This quiz helps to select perfumes you would most likely enjoy, although you can browse their whole selection if you wish. They even show the scent profiles of each perfume, such as “fruity” or “floral”, and give you perfume recommendations based on the perfumes you choose.
Here is the instructional card of how to spray and change out your perfume, along with the perfume itself. (Your first month even comes with it’s own little carrying pouch too!)
Here is the perfume I chose, Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. This is very easy to spray (believe me, I’ve come across hard-to-spray atomizers), and it is a very strong floral scent. I’ve always loved smelling this specific scent in Sephora, and I’m glad that I have a little spray bottles worth! I’m planning on wearing it at night to events or on date night, as it’s a very sensual and powerful scent to me.
Final Thoughts: Honestly, I used to be a perfume junkie. I had tons and tons of sprays that one woman wouldn’t be able to use in her lifetime, so needless to say I think this subscription is pretty rad. This subscription gives you the option to try out all the perfume your heart desires, without breaking the bank. At less than $15 a month, you’re able to try out designer perfumes, without committing to a huge bottle. (I’d say that’s a fair price for smelling fabulous!) Depending what kind of perfume you get, the value is surely there.
**In the case of Viktor & Rolf, a 50 ml bottle retails for $115. Here I got 8 ml for only $14.95, which would make a 50 ml only $93.44 with Scentbird**
All in all, I’d check out this subscription if you love perfume, and are interested in trying out new fragrances. (Also if you’re on a budget like me, this is a great option.)
