Ipsy Bag October 2014 Review – Beauty Subscription!

Time for some catch up posts! This is my OCTOBER Ipsy bag…I know…shameful lol. I loved this bag though! Very jelly like.
Box: Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for beauty products.
Price: $10/month.
Contents: 4-5 beauty products personalized to your profile, determined by a beauty/style quiz. Not everyone gets the same products!
These came as a set for one of the extras I redeemed with my Ipsy points, which I thought was a great deal. I love both of these products, especially the eyeliner.

Ayres Patagonia Body Butter (Value $4.14):
I don’t know if you guys know this about me, but I don’t use lotion lol. I should as my legs are occasionally dry, but it never bothers me like it does up in the mainland. Also if you were wondering, it smells strongly of rosemary, which I feel is an odd scent to have on you lol.
Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser (Value $4):
I will use this cleanser, and do think you can never have enough, but nothing too exciting over here.

Nicole Opi ‘On a Gilt Trip’ Nail Polish (Value $8):
I do love OPI and their formula, but this color is not for me. I will pass it on to one of my aunties who love nail polish.
Skone Cosmetics Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner (Value $15):
Felt tip liner is my go-to for my top lash line. I also adore that we got a full-sized item! I don’t particularly enjoy how this is, but it was a great value for the bag.

Noyah Lipstick ‘Deeply in Mauve’ (Value $9?):
The color on this one is ok, but I was never a fan of these tiny sample sized lipsticks. I remember getting a lot of these when my mother was into Avon.
Final Thoughts: I think there were some high valued items in this bag, and overall it had some great key items. The full-sized nail polish and eyeliner were 2 ‘winner’ pieces! At around $40, this value of this bag was 4X what I paid, which is spectacular. I do have tons of makeup though and am kind of picky, so I’m wondering if I should cancel my subscription….wah! The dilemma.
