Box: Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for beauty products.
Contents: 4-5 beauty products personalized to your profile, determined by a beauty/style quiz. Not everyone gets the same products!
Model Co Blush Cheek Powder in ‘Cosmopolitan’ (Value $22):
This is a pretty high quality blush, and it’s a very nice mauve color.
City Color Cosmetics Creamy Lip Stain in Flirtini (Value $4.99):
Not a huge fan of this. It goes on nice like Nyx Butter Glosses, but it stays on thick like a gloss which I don’t like. It’s a nice color, but I’m passing on it.
Emite Makeup Professional Eyelash Curler (Value $25):
All of my eyelash curlers are pretty old and dingy, so I’m super pumped to get a brand spanking new one.
Mitchell and Peach ‘Flora No.1 Fine Radiance Face Oil (Value $23):
I have really acne prone skin, so I’m not to keen on slapping some oil on my face.
Eva Nyc Up All Night Volumizing Spray (Value $3):
Not to excited about this product, so I’ll pass it along to a friend.
Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths:
This is my ‘extra’ that I redeemed with some Ipsy points I had. I love these especially when I’m experimenting with makeup and need to clean up between swatches.
Final Thoughts: Although this bag had some really high value items, I’m just at that point where I have way to many beauty samples lying around. I end up gifting 75% of them anyways, so I ended up canceling my Ipsy bag for now. My last bag will be in March. This bag had a great value though of about $78, which is crazy! If you’re a makeup junkie and are looking to expand your collection and try out new products, I’d definitely recommend signing up below.
