Hey guys! So recently I got another New Beauty Test Tube, and I ended up liking this one even more than the last! Super excited to show you guys what I got this time around 🙂 Also, I finally got my magazine (it came separate from my boxes), as when you buy this box it also comes with a subscription to New Beauty magazine.
Box: New Beauty Test Tube is a one of a kind sampling program letting consumers try a variety of beauty products, 6 times a year.
Price: $29.95/box (+$8.95 s/h). (FREE SHIPPING your first month if you use my link)
Contents: Deluxe and full-size beauty products, along with a subscription to New Beauty magazine delivered quarterly.
Here is the little informational packet that describes the products inside. It’s extremely detailed, which I definitely appreciate.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (Value $9):
I LOVE this dry shampoo. I’ve received this in other boxes and it effectively absorbs oil with no residue. It’s my favorite!
Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil (Value $13):
Just a few drops of this oil is supposed to give you lightweight shine.
Chi Argan Oil Plus Moringa Oil (Value $22):
Who knew Chi made argan oil?! Kinda repetitive that we got 2 hair oils in one box, but the more the merrier right? 🙂
YBF ‘Plum Noir’ Eyeliner (Value $14.50):
Holy expensive eyeliner! I like that this comes with a sharpener though, and purple tones are great for my brown eyes 🙂
Algenist Firming and Lifting Creamx (Value $23.50):
The full-size version of this (2 oz compared to this .5 oz) is $94! Dang! This is supposed to help firm and really tighten your skin, and it has pretty good reviews on Sephora.com. Awesome!
Eraclea Ever-Moist Lip Balm (Value $16):
Dang, that’s some expensive lip balm! I’m very excited for this; lip balm junkie here. I heard it’s not sticky and has a nice fruity smell.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (Value $8?):
This product is very different; a powder that activates as soon as it touched water. I haven’t had much experience with this brand, but I’m definitely willing to give it a shot. It contains salicylic acid which will hopefully help with my breakouts.
Color Club Dry Ice Drops (Value $11):
Honestly I’m most excited for this product! I hate waiting for polish to dry, and usually always manage to smudge my nails while waiting. This is a godsend.
Final Thoughts: This is my second time around with New Beauty Test Tube and I am definitely impressed. I love that the majority of these products are full-sized; the value is terrific! Not all of these are included in every tube (there are random extras to different people), but the total value of this tube was $117, not including shipping and the magazine subscription. I did notice a huge difference in product size between this tube and my previous one, but both boxes did have amazing values over the purchase price. Although we got 2 types of hair oils, overall the variety is great. A lot of the brands are also those I haven’t tried yet, so it really is a great box to try out and experience new brands.
