Ahold, my first Ipsy Bag of 2017! After purging a ton of makeup and using up a lot of my collection, I’m ready to replenish it with some makeup goodies. Let’s see what we got!
Box: Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription service.
Price: $10/month, free s/h.
Contents: 4-5 full-size or deluxe-size products every month, plus a makeup bag.
Check out all of my Ipsy reviews.
I really liked the bag this month – the soft pink is a nice color and I love the fold over clutch style. I’m also digging the mesh design; like pink mermaid scales!
PUR Disappearing Ink 4-in-1 Concealer in ‘Light’ (Value $13):
Yes! I love getting concealer! I’m proud to say that I’m getting a nice tan from surfing so often, so this will be used underneath my eyes. This is also said to have light reflecting properties so it can draw the attention away from any imperfections.
Neon Milk to Foam Coconut Milk Cleanser (Value $2.50):
I like the packaging on this – reminds me of L’occitane. I do have quite the face wash shortage so I’ll give this one a shot.
Elizabeth Mott Blending Brush (Value $15 – FULL SIZE!):
In my opinion, you can never have too many blending brushes – especially mint green ones with rose gold hardware! Love it when we get beauty tools in the bags.
Tarteist Lip Paint in ‘Rosé’ (Value $3.33):
I’m so excited to try this out! Seriously, this is like one of those dream Ipsy Bag items for me. I’ve always been really interested in the Tarte brand, and I’ve been eyeing up this product for a long time – I love matte lips! This color (and the name) is perfect for me also.
So Susan Blush & Glow Luminizing Blush (Value $22.95):
I apologize for not swatching this, but this blush is a beautiful bronze/rose color, and the shimmers are gorgeous!
Final Thoughts: First of all, the bag this month was one of my all-time personal favorites. I also loved that we got a ‘big name brand’ this month (Tarte). We got some great full-size items, and the value of my products came out to $56.78. That’s a crazy good value for a $10 subscription!
