The fangirl inside me is geeking out big time! I finally got a fandom subscription box – and this month is Disney themed! Nerdy Post focuses more on stationary type of items, and I love that you can skip a month if you don’t like the certain fandom that’s going to be featured that month. (Probably won’t be much of a problem for me, as my fandom list is astronomical lol!)
Box: Nerdy Post is a monthly subscription service focusing on all things fandom-related from books, tv, and movies. There is also Nerdy Tees, a fandom t-shirt subscription!
Price: $13.95/month, $6 s/h.
Coupon: Use code NERDYNEWBIE to save 10% off your first box!
Contents: 5-7 handmade items a month, centered around a specific fandom.
I heart this.
I believe every month there is a bonus item, and this month it was a tealight from Wickdom. The candle has scents of rose, frankincense, and myrrh.
Next we have a wisp sticker, “Change your fate”, referenced from the movie Brave. The bookmark is of course from Beauty and the Beast, with a quote that says, “It’s not right for a woman to read. Pretty soon she gets ideas, starts thinking.” I love this quote!
Every month a post card that you can color is included – this one of is of Disney Castle. The bookmark has a quote from Robin Hood.
There was a sticker sheet included with a bunch of empowering quotes, I love the Mulan one as Mulan is my favorite Disney movie! (“The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.”) The rest of the quotes are from the movies Hercules, Zootopia, Frozen, The Princess and the Frog, and Aladdin. We also got a Sleeping Beauty Magnet was absolutely beautiful!
This Moana poster is so gorgeous! Can you believe I’m from Hawaii and still haven’t seen the movie? Gah, it’s on my list.
This quote is from Flynn Ryder in Tangled, so it fits well that there is a mirror on the back!
Pocahontas and Rafiki mini prints.
These 2 mini prints are so beautifully colored, and I like the font! Still can’t believe that the creator/owner Alexis thinks up all these beautiful creations – her Instagram posts of doing calligraphy are mesmerizing. The first quote, “I just don’t see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad.” is of course from The Little Mermaid.
The next print is perfect – I love the galaxy and little stars! The quote, “Are you satisfied with your care?” is from Big Hero 6, which I didn’t see. This reference is lost on me unfortunately!
I am head over heels for this subscription! The designs are beautiful and I love the quotes! Everything is so diverse – I like that there’s a little bit of everything, and not just one type of stationary. While this subscription box doesn’t have a lot of usability for me, I’m inspired to create a nice vision board from my eventual collection of items – I can’t resist it!
What did you think of this months Nerdy Post theme? I feel like everyone loves Disney! Next month is middle earth, which I’m wayyyy to stoked on. I’m going home to the shire!
