While I normally run on strong iced coffee, I do enjoy the occasional cup of tea. Tea Runners offered to send me one of their monthly boxes for review, and I was excited to try it out!
Box: Tea Runners is a lose-leaf tea subscription.
Price: $25/month, free s/h.
Contents: 4 different teas from around the world, enough for 30-50 cups, along with tasting notes and brewing instructions.
The teas are loose-leaf, so you will need a tea bag or brewer of some sort. All the teas are from established companies – Tea Runners just repackages them into their resealable bags.
Nirvana – Fruity, berry green tea. This sounds delicious iced!
Earl Grey Lavender – A classic black tea with calming lavender.
Imperial Green Biluochan – Bitter, pure green tea.
Classic Laoshan Black – Similar to a Chinese style black tea.
Final Thoughts: I think this is a wonderful subscription to discover a bunch of different teas from around the world, and perfect for tea fanatics and casual drinkers alike. This gives you the opportunity to try out many blends that you probably wouldn’t have tasted otherwise, so it’s a good value to expand your tea horizons. I also love how their packaging tells you exactly how to brew it, the caffeine content, etc. – No guessing required!
